Album Background
After his early works Scorpion Circles, Impotent Mindfuck, and Textual Harassment, Memphis Reigns embarked on a path to dedicate his life in service to our country. This required time away from music and precise focus to ensure he was at the top of his game. One random day after some nostalgia-filled moments listening to our old tracks, I decided to reach out to him. Coincidentally, he was on his way back to the states fresh out of Afghanistan.
Some conversations later, we decided we should get back to making the music we were so passionate about. The MySpace page went up and so did a flood of listeners we had no idea still existed. This is where we met D-Mitch and the other beatmakers who provided backdrops for him to tell his stories. With years of material and a passion to rhyme again, Skeleton Crew Diaries, Memphis Reigns’ first born was delivered effortlessly.
I’m featured on the track titled “Post Script to Mars” produced by the talented French beat scientist, Defré Baccara aka Fred Yadadden.
